  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About OAS1

P00973 NM_016816 NP_058132.2

OAS1 Antibody, 2,5-oligo A synthetase 1 Antibody, 2-5A synthetase 1 Antibody, 2-5A synthase 1 Antibody, 2-5-oligoadenylate synthase 1 Antibody, E18/E16 Antibody, OIASI Antibody, OIAS Antibody, p46/p42 OAS Antibody, IFI-4 Antibody

Interferon-induced, dsRNA-activated antiviral enzyme which plays a critical role in cellular innate antiviral response. In addition, it may also play a role in other cellular processes such as apoptosis, cell growth, differentiation and gene regulation. Synthesizes higher oligomers of 2'-5'-oligoadenylates (2-5A) from ATP which then bind to the inactive monomeric form of ribonuclease L (RNase L) leading to its dimerization and subsequent activation.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue reacted with OAS1 antibody , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Western blot

Western blot
The anti-OAS1 antibody is used in Western blot to detect OAS1 in mouse liver lysate.
