  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

NTSR1 / NTR antibody was raised against an 18-aa peptide sequence within the 3rd extracellular of mouse NTR1 (1) of was synthesized, coupled to KLH.
Recognizes mouse NTR1. No significant sequence homology exist with NTR2 or NTR3 or other GPCR. Species sequence Homology: human, rat: 84%.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1-10 ug/ml (ECL). ELISA: ~1:100000 using 50-100 ng control peptide/well. Immunohistochemistry: 2-20 ug/ml for tissues fixed in formaldehyde.

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% BSA, 40% glycerol.
Store at 4°C for short term applications. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.

NTR1, a Neurotensin Receptor, activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system in the central and peripheral nervous systems. It mediates the functions of neurotensin, such as hypotension, hyperglycemia, hypothermia, antinociception, and regulation of intestinal motility and secretion. Neurotensin Receptor 1 expression is enhanced in pancreatic cancer and in chronic pancreatitis (Wang et al, 2000).
