  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

NRAS / N-ras antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-RMKKLNSSDDGTQ from an internal region of human NRAS (NP_002515.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey, Mouse, Elephant, Panda, Bovine, Dog, Bat, Horse, Pig, Opossum (100%); Marmoset, Rat, Hamster, Guinea pig (92%).
LS-E26631 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Human NRAS.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2501 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2501 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.

Tris-buffered saline, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide
Store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

The N-ras oncogene is a member of the RAS gene family. It is mapped on chromosome 1, and it is activated in HL60, a promyelocytic leukemia line. The order of nearby genes is as follows: cen--CD2--NGFB--NRAS--tel. The mammalian ras gene family consists of the harvey and kirsten ras genes (c-Hras1 and c-Kras2), an inactive pseudogene of each (c-Hras2 and c-Kras1) and the N-ras gene. They differ significantly only in the C-terminal 40 amino acids.

Anti-NRAS antibody IHC of human small intestine. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B2501 concentration 5 ug/ml.

Western blot

Western blot
Antibody (0.01 ug/ml) staining of A431 lysate (35 ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.
