Native glucocorticoid receptor purified from rat liver.

Recognizes glucocorticoid receptor, Mr 85-100kD. Species cross-reactivity: Rat, mouse and hamster. Does not react with human.

Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot Analysis: 1-8 ug/ml of this lot detected Glucocorticoid Receptor in RIPA lysates from L6, PC12, and 3T3/A31 cells. L6 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-Glucocorticoid Receptor (4 ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Arrow indicates glucocorticoid receptor (~97kD). Immunoprecipitation: This antibody has been reported by an independent laboratory to immunoprecipitate glucocorticoid receptor from WEHI-7 and WCL2 cells.
