Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

NOS1 / nNOS antibody was raised against kLH-conjugated, synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids surrounding Ser1417 of human neuronal Nitric Oxide Synthase (nNOS), with an N-terminal cysteine added for conjugation purposes, where pS is phosphorylated serine corresponding to the AMPK phosphorylation site. This site also corresponds to Ser1451 of the nNOSu isoform. The immunizing sequence is identical in mouse, rat, zebrafish and frog.
pSer1417
Recognizes human phosphorylated nNOS/NOS I, Mr 170kD. Species cross-reactivity: rat. Species sequence Homology: mouse, zebrafish and frog. Sequence homology: Ser1451 of the nNOSu isoform.
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.6, 0.175M sodium chloride, 0.07% sodium azide, before the addition of glycerol to 30%.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
