The immunogen sequence is 100% conserved in certain NOD2 isoforms and mutations. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gibbon (100%); Monkey (95%); Gorilla, Orangutan, Sheep, Zebu, Bovine, Rabbit (89%); Tamarin, Rat, Elephant, Pig (84%); Mouse (79%).
