Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

NK1 / CD160 antibody was raised against mouse CD160
This CNX46-3 (CNX46-3) antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of C57BL/6 mouse splenocyte suspensions. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

Aqueous buffer, 0.09% sodium azide, may contain carrier protein/stabilizer.
Store at +4°C. Do not freeze. Product is photosensitive and should be protected from light.

About NK1 / CD160

O95971 NM_007053 NP_008984.1

CD160 Antibody, CD160 antigen Antibody, CD160 molecule Antibody, CD160 transmembrane isoform Antibody, CD160-delta Ig Antibody, NK1 Antibody, BY55 Antibody, NK28 Antibody

CD160 is an 27 kDa glycoprotein which was initially identified with the monoclonal antibody BY55. Its expression is tightly associated with peripheral blood NK cells and CD8 T lymphocytes with cytolytic effector activity. The cDNA sequence of CD160 predicts a cysteine-rich, glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein of 181 amino acids with a single Ig-like domain weakly homologous to KIR2DL4 molecule. CD160 is expressed at the cell surface as a tightly disulfide-linked multimer.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Mouse (C57/Bl6) splenocytes were stained with FITC anti-mouse CD3 (145-2C11) (LS-C105774), APC anti-mouse NK1.1 (PK136) (LS-C107016), and with 0.5 ug PE anti-mouse CD160 (CNX46-3) (LS-C106987). The histogram (right panel) demonstrates staining of CD160 (CNX46-3) (LS-C106987) on NK1.1+CD3- cells (red line) and NK1.1+CD3+ cells (black line), as gated in the dot plot (left panel). This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
