Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse Monoclonal [clone 2F11] (IgG1) to Human Neurofilament
IHC - Paraffin, IHC - Frozen, Western blot
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG1 Monoclonal [2F11]
Tissue culture supernatant
IHC - Paraffin (1:100)
IHC - Frozen (1:160)
Western blot (1:20)
Specificity and Use
Neurofilament antibody was raised against neurofilament from human brain
Stains the 70 kD and 200 kD polypeptides of neurofilament. Not reactive with small cell lung carcinoma. Does not cross react with GFAP, keratin, vimentin, or desmin.
Stains neurons in sections of brain and other tissues. Frozen sections show excellent staining. On sections from formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissue the staining is somewhat reduced. Useful for Western blotting.
