Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Pellet of pig brain cold stable proteins after microtubule depolymerization
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B1637 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B1637 was determined to be 15 ug/ml.

Packaging

Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide at 0.5 mg/ml.
+4°C, avoid freezing

About NEFM / NF-M

P07197 NM_005382 NP_005373.2

NEFM Antibody, 160 kDa neurofilament protein Antibody, NEF3 Antibody, NF-M Antibody, NFM Antibody, Neurofilament 3 Antibody

Neurofilaments are type IV intermediate filament heteropolymers composed of light, medium, and heavy chains. Neurofilaments comprise the axoskeleton and functionally maintain neuronal caliber. They may also play a role in intracellular transport to axons and dendrites. This gene encodes the medium neurofilament protein. This protein is commonly used as a biomarker of neuronal damage. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-NEFM / NF-M antibody IHC of human brain, cerebellum. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B1637 concentration 15 ug/ml.

Western blot

Western blot
Rat brain tissue lysates were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with purified monoclonal anti-Neurofilament medium protein antibody (Clone NF-09). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse IgG secondary conjugated to HRP and chemiluminescence detection.
