Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

NCR1 / NKP46 antibody was raised against fusion protein consisting of the extracellular region of bovine CD335.
Specific for bovine CD335, also known as NKp46 and Natural cytotoxicity triggering receptor 1. CD335 is a type I transmembrane protein, with two extracellular C2-type immunoglobulin-like domains, which functions as an activating receptor. CD335 is primarily expressed by a subset natural killer (NK) cells. No expression of CD335 has been detected on B cells, T cells, monocytes or granulocytes. Clone AKS1 is reported to activate lysis of FcgammaR-expressing cell line P815, by IL-2 activated NKp46+ cells. XXX recommend the use of MCA2365EL for this purpose.
Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 ul. Method sheets are available on request. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

About NCR1 / NKP46

NCR1 Antibody, CD335 Antibody, HNKp46 Antibody, NK-p46 Antibody, Lymphocyte antigen 94 homolog Antibody, NK cell-activating receptor Antibody, CD335 antigen Antibody, LY94 Antibody, NKP46 Antibody

NKp46/CD335 is expressed on activated and resting NK cells but not on T or B cells and belongs to a family of receptors termed natural cytotoxicity receptors (NCR). Their engagement induces a strong activation of NK-mediated cytolysis and direct correlation exists between the surface density of NCR and the ability of NK cells to kill various target cells.
