Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

NCF2 / NOXA2 / p67phox antibody was raised against kLH-conjugated, synthetic peptides corresponding to the first 15aa from the N-terminal and the last 15aa on the C-terminal of mouse p67-phox.
Recognizes mouse p67-phox, Mr ~67kD.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2171 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2171 was determined to be 5 ug/ml. Antibody does not work for Western blot with human samples.

About NCF2 / NOXA2 / p67phox

P19878 NM_000433 NP_000424.2

NCF2 Antibody, NADPH oxidase activator 2 Antibody, Neutrophil cytosol factor 2 Antibody, Neutrophil cytosolic factor 2 Antibody, NOXA2 Antibody, p67PHOX Antibody, NCF-2 Antibody, p67-PHOX Antibody

NCF2 / NOXA2 / p67phox is neutrophil cytosolic factor 2, the 67-kilodalton cytosolic subunit of the multi-protein NADPH oxidase complex found in neutrophils. This oxidase produces a burst of superoxide which is delivered to the lumen of the neutrophil phagosome. Mutations in this gene, as well as in other NADPH oxidase subunits, can result in chronic granulomatous disease, a disease that causes recurrent infections by catalase-positive organisms.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
