Synthetic peptide: ENKVGSPEKPLSDLG, corresponding to amino acids 331-345 of yeast ESA1 encompassing a conserved sequence in MYST family members MOZ, YBF2/SAS 3, SAS 2, Tip60, and MOF. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Yeast, Tick (100%); Xenopus, Water flea, Slime mold, Phytophthora, Capsaspora, Ajellomyces (93%); Drosophila, Mosquito, Ant, Beetle, Bloom alga (87%).
Recognizes yeast ESA1 and other mammalian MYST family members. Species cross-reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human. Expected to cross-react with Mouse (86% identity with immunogen), Zebrafish (86% identity with immunogen), S. cerevisiae (100% identity with immunogen) and S. pombe (86% identity with immunogen) due to sequence homology.
