MYO1H antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-EDQVYKDKNGQLR from the C-terminus of human MYO1H (NP_001158045.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Mouse (100%); Galago, Panda (85%).

Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000. Western blot: Approx 110kD band observed in lysates of cell line NIH3T3 (calculated MW of 118kD according to NP_001158045.1). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3 ug/ml. An additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 28kD. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
Myosins are actin-based motor molecules with ATPase activity. Unconventional myosins serve in intracellular movements. Their highly divergent tails are presumed to bind to membranous compartments, which would be moved relative to actin filaments.
