  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

MTOR antibody was raised against a 15 amino acid peptide from near the amino terminus of human TOR.
LS-E30131 - Liquid - 50 µg - $145.00
15 amino acid peptide from near the amino terminus of human TOR
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B1354 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B1354 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

PBS, 0.02% sodium azide.
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles. Store undiluted.

MTOR Antibody, FRAP1 Antibody, FRAP2 Antibody, FRAP Antibody, Mammalian target of rapamycin Antibody, RAFT1 Antibody, Rapamycin and FKBP12 target 1 Antibody, RAPT1 Antibody, Rapamycin target protein 1 Antibody

Serine/threonine protein kinase which is a central regulator of cellular metabolism, growth and survival in response to hormones, growth factors, nutrients, energy and stress signals. MTOR directly or indirectly regulates the phosphorylation of at least 800 proteins. Functions as part of 2 structurally and functionally distinct signaling complexes mTORC1 and mTORC2 (mTOR complex 1 and 2).
