  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Myotubularin (MTM1), a myotubularin-related phosphatase, has been shown to contain the consensus active site of dual specificity protein phosphatases (DSPs) and to share inhibition and inactivation characteristics with other DSPs in vitro and in vivo. MTM1 also has been shown to possess a SET-interacting domain (SID) which is unique to myotubularin-related proteins.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot showing knockdown of endogenous MTM1 expression by MTM1-targeting vectors pDM134 and pDM170. Embryonic stem (ES) cells were untreated (lane 1) or transfected with control plasmid pDCont (lane 2), MTM1-targeting plasmid pDM134 (lane 3), or pDM170 (lane 4). The blot was probed with anti-MTM1 rabbit polyclonal antibodies. -Actin was used as a loading control.

Western blot

Western blot
The anti-MTM1 C-term antibody is used in Western blot to detect MTM1 in NCI-H460 cell lysate (lane 1) and in mouse heart tissue lysate (lane 2).
