Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

MTA1 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide that maps to a region between residues 400 and 450 of human Metastasis Associated Protein 1 using the numbering given in Swiss-Prot entry Q13330 (GeneID 9112).
aa400-450
Specific for human MTA-1 protein. Other species not tested. Reactivity with mouse, rat and X. laevis MTA1 is expected owing to conservation of sequence at the site to which the epitope maps.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.

Packaging

Tris-citrate/phosphate (pH 7-8), 0.09% sodium azide.
For research use only.

About MTA1

Q13330 NM_004689 NP_004680.2

MTA1 Antibody, Metastasis associated 1 Antibody

Transcriptional coregulator which can act as both a transcriptional corepressor and coactivator. As a part of the histone-deacetylase multiprotein complex (NuRD), regulates transcription of its targets by modifying the acetylation status of the target chromatin and cofactor accessibility to the target DNA. In conjunction with other components of NuRD, acts as a transcriptional corepressor of BRCA1, ESR1, TFF1 and CDKN1A.
