Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

  • Immunoprecipitation
  • ELISA

Specificity and Use

MSN / Moesin antibody was raised against moesin from cow uterus.
Recognizes 78kD moesin. Weakly recognizes 80kD radixin. Detects most of the proteolytic fragments of moesin. Does not react with talin or ezrin.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2180 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2180 was determined to be 5 ug/ml. Immunoprecipitation: Denatured only. 2 ug/mg protein lysate using Protein G. Western Blot: 1-2 ug/ml for 2 hours at RT. Positive control: Raji cells, placenta.

Packaging

About MSN / Moesin

P26038 NM_002444 NP_002435.1

MSN Antibody, Moesin Antibody

Moesin (for membrane-organizing extension spike protein) is a member of the ERM family which includes ezrin and radixin. ERM proteins appear to function as cross-linkers between plasma membranes and actin-based cytoskeletons. Moesin is localized to filopodia and other membranous protrusions that are important for cell-cell recognition and signaling and for cell movement.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-MSN / Moesin antibody IHC of human thymus. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B2180 concentration 5 ug/ml.
