Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
Recombinant protein corresponding to the membrane-bound form of the mesothelin molecule.
Recognizes Mesothelin. Species cross-reactivity: Human.
Immunohistology (Formalin/paraffin): (Use Ab at 1:20-1:40 for 30 min at RT) Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Positive control: Mesothelioma.
This gene encodes a preproprotein that is cleaved into two products, megakaryocyte potentiating factor and mesothelin. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Mesothelin is a cell surface differentiation antigen found in mesothelial cells, mesotheliomas and ovarian cancers. Although the function of mesothelin is unknown, it may play a role in cellular adhesion. Three transcript variants have been described.
