Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

MOAP1 / MAP1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human MOAP1 / MAP1.
LS-E29988 - Liquid - 50 µg - $145.00
Internal
15 amino acid peptide from near the center of human MAP-1
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B587 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B587 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.

Packaging

PBS, 0.02% sodium azide.
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles. Store undiluted.

About MOAP1 / MAP1

Q96BY2 NM_022151 NP_071434.2

MOAP1 Antibody, MAP-1 Antibody, MAP1 Antibody, Modulator of apoptosis 1 Antibody, Paraneoplastic antigen like 4 Antibody, Paraneoplastic antigen Ma4 Antibody, PNMA4 Antibody

Apoptosis plays a major role in normal organism development, tissue homeostasis, and removal of damaged cells. Disruption of this process has been implicated in a variety of diseases such as cancer. Members of the Bcl-2 family are known to be critical regulators of this process. These proteins are characterized by the presence of several conserved motifs termed Bcl-2 homology (BH) domains. A related protein termed MAP-1 has recently been identified.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-MOAP1 / MAP1 antibody IHC of human brain, cortex. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B587 concentration 5 ug/ml.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of MAP-1 in EL4 cell lysate with MAP-1 antibody (IN) at (A) 1, (B) 2, and (C) 4 ug/ml.
