Specificity and Use
MME / CD10 antibody was raised against prokaryotic recombinant protein corresponding to the external domain of the CD10 glycoprotein.
Is specific to human CD10 antigen of 100 kD, also known as common acute lymphocytic leukemia antigen (CALLA). CD10 antigen has been identified on the surface of early lymphoid progenitor cells, immature B cells with in adult bone marrow and germinal center B cells with in lymphoid tissue.
MME / CD10 is a common acute lymphocytic leukemia antigen that is an important cell surface marker in the diagnosis of human acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL). This protein is present on leukemic cells of pre-B phenotype, which represent 85% of cases of ALL. This protein is not restricted to leukemic cells, however, and is found on a variety of normal tissues.
