This antibody was generated by immunizing mice with a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 387-403 DSREQKLDAFLQPLSKP of human MLH1; GenBank no. NP_000240.1. This peptide sequence is 93% homologous to mouse and dog MLH1. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey, Marmoset (100%); Gibbon (94%); Elephant, Panda, Bat, Dog, Rabbit (88%); Mouse, Hamster, Bovine, Horse, Pig, Opossum, Turkey, Chicken, Lizard, Xenopus (82%).
