Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse Monoclonal [clone OX-18] (IgG1) to Rat MHC Class I RT1A
Rat MHC Class I RT1A
Rat (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)

Flow Cytometry (1:1 - 1:10)
Specificity and Use
Rat spleen glycoproteins.
Recognizes a monomorphic determinant of rat MHC Class I (RT1A), expressed by all rat strains. However, quantitative measurements suggest that not all of the class I molecules are recognized. MRC OX-18 has been used in immunoaffinity purification of rat MHC class I molecules. This product is routinely tested in flow cytometry on rat splenocytes.
Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 ul. Method sheets are available on request. Immunohistology: Acetone fixation recommended - the antigen is sensitive to fixation with paraformaldehyde. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
