Specificity and Use
Recognizes a monomorphic epitope present on ovine MHC class I molecules. Ovine MHC class I molecules are expressed at varying levels on most nucleated cells, with exception of neural cells. Will immunoprecipitate a band of approximately 44kD under reducing conditions. Reported to react with paraffin-embedded material following alcohol fixation. Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 ul. Immunohistology: This clone has also been reported to react with paraffin-embedded material following alcohol fixation.
