Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

MARK1 / MARK antibody was raised against synthetic 18 amino acid peptide from N-terminus of human MARK1. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Dog, Bat, Bovine, Panda, Rabbit, Opossum (100%); Elephant, Horse, Lizard (94%); Rat, Turkey, Chicken, Platypus (89%).
LS-E29670 - Liquid - 50 µg - $145.00
N-Terminus
Human MARK1. BLAST analysis of the peptide immunogen showed no homology with other human proteins.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-A9497 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-A9497 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

About MARK1 / MARK

Q9P0L2 NM_018650 NP_061120.3

MARK1 Antibody, KIAA1477 Antibody, Par1c Antibody, PAR1 homolog c Antibody, MARK Antibody, Par-1c Antibody

Serine/threonine-protein kinase involved in cell polarity and microtubule dynamics regulation. Phosphorylates DCX, MAP2, MAP4 and MAPT/TAU. Involved in cell polarity by phosphorylating the microtubule-associated proteins MAP2, MAP4 and MAPT/TAU at KXGS motifs, causing detachment from microtubules, and their disassembly.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-MARK1 antibody LS-A9497 IHC of human brain, caduate. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval.
