Recognizes bovine Tau. Recognizes both the nonphosphorylated and the phosphorylated forms of Tau. Intensely stains the human neurofibrillary tangles, neuropil threads and neuritic plaques associated with Alzheimer's disease. Species cross-reactivity: Human, sheep, mouse, and rat. Shows no cross-reaction with other MAPs or tubulin.
