Specifications

Description
MAPK3 is a serine/threonine kinase that is an essential member of the MAP kinase signal transduction pathway (MAPK/ERK cascade). MAPK3 is required for proper targeting of presynaptic axons to postsynaptic targets, and MAPK3 mutations or dysfunction may induce the formation of abnormal neuronal architecture and contribute to the pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorder and other neuropsychiatric disorders. In immunohistochemistry, MAPK3 has cytoplasmic positivity in cells throughout the central nervous system and is found in most other tissues in the body. Usage
Immunohistochemistry: The unconjugated form was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for the unconjugated form was determined to be 15-20 ug/ml.
Presentation
PBS, 0.1% Sodium Azide
