Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Targeting of newly synthesized lysosomal enzymes in many cell types depends on formation of mannose 6-phosphate residues on lysosomal enzymes and recognition of these residues by specific receptors. The cation-dependent mannose 6-phosphate receptor is one of the two transmembrane proteins involved in transport of lysosomal enzymes. Binding of ligands to this receptor is dependent on divalent cations and pH.
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human testis tissue reacted with M6PR antibody , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
Western blot of M6PR Antibody in mouse brain tissue lysates (35 ug/lane). M6PR (arrow) was detected using the purified antibody.
