Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

LPAR1 / LPA1 / EDG2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 328-344 [CQRSENPTGPTESSDRS] of Human Edg-2, KLH-conjugated. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon (94%); Monkey, Marmoset, Hamster (88%); Mouse, Rat, Sheep, Elephant, Bat, Bovine, Horse, Pig (81%).
aa328-344
Recognizes human Edg-2 at ~50kD. Species cross-reactivity: Human and rat.
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot Analysis: 0.5-2 ug/ml detects Edg-2 in rat brain microsomal preparation. The specificity of the antibody in Western Blot was confirmed by peptide inhibition using the immunizing peptide. Western Blot Analysis Rat brain microsomal preparation was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-Edg- 2 (1 ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.

About LPAR1 / LPA1 / EDG2

Q92633 NM_001401 NP_001392.2

LPAR1 Antibody, EDG-2 Antibody, EDG2 Antibody, Gpcr26 Antibody, Rec.1.3 Antibody, Vzg-1 Antibody, Ventricular zone gene 1 Antibody, LPA receptor 1 Antibody, LPA-1 Antibody, LPA1 Antibody, Mrec1.3 Antibody, VZG1 Antibody

The integral membrane protein encoded by this gene is a lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) receptor from a group known as EDG receptors. These receptors are members of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. Utilized by LPA for cell signaling, EDG receptors mediate diverse biologic functions, including proliferation, platelet aggregation, smooth muscle contraction, inhibition of neuroblastoma cell differentiation, chemotaxis, and tumor cell invasion.
