  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

LIG1 / DNA Ligase 1 antibody was raised against recombinant human DNA Ligase I (aa 1-919) purified from baculovirus infected Sf9 cells.
Recognizes human DNA Ligase I (125 kD), one of the four ligase proteins found in mammalian cells that are required for the joining of DNA strand breaks that occur during DNA replication, repair, and recombination.

PBS, pH 7.4
Store at -70°C, avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

About LIG1 / DNA Ligase 1

P18858 NM_000234 NP_000225.1

LIG1 Antibody, DNA ligase I Antibody, DNA ligase 1 Antibody, Ligase I, DNA, ATP-dependent Antibody

LIG1 / DNA Ligase 1 is a member of the ATP-dependent DNA ligase protein family. The encoded protein functions in DNA replication, recombination, and the base excision repair process. Mutations in this gene that lead to DNA ligase I deficiency result in immunodeficiency and increased sensitivity to DNA-damaging agents. Disruption of this gene may also be associated with a variety of cancers. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
