Recognizes Leptin (human) [1-24], Leptin (human) and Leptin (mouse). The reactivity of Leptin (rat) is ~75%. Does not react to Epidermal Growth Factor (Human), Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (Human), Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 (Rat), Parathyroid hormone (Human) and Transforming growth factor-alpha (Human). Specific for the amino terminal of the human Leptin. Species cross-reactivity: Human, mouse, monkey, porcine and rat.

Usage
Suitable for use in RIA, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Cell Staining. Immunoprecipitation: 1:500-1:5000; Quantitatively immunoprecipitates Leptin at dilutions ranging from 1:500-1:5000 depending upon the amount of Leptin in a sample. Tested using double antibody precipitation and magnetic bead techniques.
