  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Laminin antibody was raised against human Laminin(1). Monoclonal antibody was obtained by fusing the mouse myeloma cell-line P3U1 with spleen cells of BALB/c mouse after immunization with human Laminin (1).
Specific for human P2 Laminin fragment.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. ELISA: 1:10000 (0.2 ug/ml). Western Blot: 1:1000 (2 ug/ml). Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and paraffin): 10 ug/ml (human stomach carcinoma). Immunocytochemistry: 10 ug/ml (HT1080 cells).

Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% BSA.
Reconstitute in 50 ul of Sterile distilled water, 0.1% sodium azide.
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C for short-term only. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.

About Laminin

Laminins are high-molecular weight (~400kDa) proteins of the extracellular matrix. They are a major component of the basal lamina (one of the layers of the basement membrane), a protein network foundation for most cells and organs. The laminins are an important and biologically active part of the basal lamina, influencing cell differentiation, migration, and adhesion, as well as phenotype and survival.
