Mammary organoids.
Specificity
Reacts with the smallest human cytokeratin (Mr 40kD). No cross-reactivity with other cytokeratins. Reacts strongly with luminal (secretory) epithelial cells but does not stain the basal (myoepithelial) cells. There is a subset of secretory epithelial cells which were Keratin 19 and are thought to be precursors to keratin 19+ cells.

Usage
Suitable for use in Indirect Immunoperoxidase, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry (frozen, Paraffin 1:50-1:100). Immunohistochemistry (Indirect Immunoperoxidase): 1:50. Paraffin embedded human epithelial tissue sections. Requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections e. g. trypsin or pronase. Positive control: Normal breast tissue.
