Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

KRT19 / CK19 / Cytokeratin 19 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from mouse KRT19 / Cytokeratin 19.
aa21-40
Peptide comprised of amino acids 21-40 of mouse cytokeratin 19
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B108 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B108 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

Packaging

PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

About KRT19 / CK19 / Cytokeratin 19

KRT19 Antibody, CK19 Antibody, Cytokeratin 19 Antibody, Cytokeratin-19 Antibody, Keratin 19 Antibody, Keratin-19 Antibody, CK-19 Antibody, K19 Antibody, K1CS Antibody, Keratin, type I, 40-kd Antibody

KRT19 / CK19 / Cytokeratin 19 is a member of the keratin family. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. The type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains. Unlike its related family members, this smallest known acidic cytokeratin is not paired with a basic cytokeratin in epithelial cells.
