Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

KLK9 / Kallikrein 9 antibody was raised against nS0-derived rhKLK9.
Selected for its ability to detect human KLK9 in direct ELISAs and Western Blots. In Western Blots, this antibody shows no cross-reactivity with rhKLK1, -3, -4, -5, -6, -7, -8, -10, -11, -12, -13, -14, -15, rhKLKB1, rhHGFA, rhFactor VII, rhFactor X, rhFactor XI, or rhThrombin.
Western Blot: This antibody can be used at 1-2 ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human KLK9. Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit for rhKLK9 is approximately 25 ng/lane and 10 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions, respectively. Chemiluminescent detection will increase sensitivity by 5 to 50 fold. Immunoprecipitation: This antibody was used at a concentration of 25 ug/ml to immunoprecipitate rhKLK9 from conditioned cell culture medium. The recovered rhKLK9 can be detected in Western blots using a polyclonal antibody. Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0 ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human KLK9. The detection limit for rhKLK9 is approximately 10 ng/well.

KLK9 Antibody, Kallikrein 9 Antibody, Kallikrein-related peptidase 9 Antibody, Kallikrein-9 Antibody, Kallikrein-like protein 3 Antibody, KLK-L3 Antibody, KLKL3 Antibody

The protein encoded by this gene is a kallikrein-related serine protease. This gene is activated by steroid hormones in a human breast cancer cell line, making it a good marker for cancer detection. The encoded protein is found primarily in the cytoplasm.
