Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:500 - 1:1000)
Specificity and Use
KLK3 / PSA antibody was raised against peptide corresponding to aa 247-261 of human KLK3 protein.
Recognizes human KLK3 (prostate specific antigen, PSA), one of the many kallikrein serine proteases associated with carcinogenesis. KLK3 is a specific marker for prostate carcinoma that has also been associated with breast cancer and possibly other cancers.
Western Blot: A band of approximately 30 kD is detected.
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. This gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Its protein product is a protease present in seminal plasma.
