Specificity and Use
KIR2DS4 antibody was raised against recombinant human KIR2DS4 purified from E. coli.
The antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:500-1:2000.

Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIRs) are transmembrane glycoproteins expressed by natural killer cells and subsets of T cells. The KIR genes are polymorphic and highly homologous and they are found in a cluster on chromosome 19q13.4 within the 1 Mb leukocyte receptor complex (LRC). The gene content of the KIR gene cluster varies among haplotypes, although several "framework" genes are found in all haplotypes (KIR3DL3, KIR3DP1, KIR3DL4, KIR3DL2).
Recombinant human KIR2DL1, KIR2DL3, KIR2DL4 and KIR2DS4 (each 100 ng) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human KIR2DS4 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. Arrow indicates recombinant human KIR2DS4 protein.
