Specificity and Use
KDR / VEGFR2 / FLK1 antibody was raised against synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding Tyr996 of human VEGF receptor 2 (KLH coupled).
Detects overexpressed human VEGFR-2 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 996. Cross-reacts with tyrosine-phosphorylated PDGF receptor, but does not cross-react with other tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins. Species cross-reactivity: Human and mouse.
Suitable for use in Western Blot.
