Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein G purified
Specificity and Use
KAT2B / PCAF antibody was raised against n-terminal domain of human PCAF.
Recognizes the N-terminal domain of the transcriptional activator PCAF. This domain of PCAF contains a region that interacts with p300/CBP and it competes with the adenoviral E1A oncoprotein for binding to p300/CBP as a potential tumor suppressor.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. ELISA: 1:8000.
PBS, pH 7.2.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
Functions as a histone acetyltransferase (HAT) to promote transcriptional activation. Has significant histone acetyltransferase activity with core histones (H3 and H4), and also with nucleosome core particles. Also acetylates non-histone proteins, such as ACLY. Inhibits cell-cycle progression and counteracts the mitogenic activity of the adenoviral oncoprotein E1A. In case of HIV-1 infection, it is recruited by the viral protein Tat.
