Human JCHAIN / Ig J Chain
Mouse | |
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG1 Monoclonal | |
Unconjugated. Also available conjugated with AP, Biotin, FITC, HRP, PE.
Protein A purified | |
Unmodified |
Human J Chain. | |
Recognizes human J chain as tested by ELISA using purified human Ig fragments as the solid phase target antigen. The antibody does not detect J chain in intact IgM in ELISA assays due to steric hindrance. In Western Blot techniques the antibody detects J chain in IgM only in reducing conditions.
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:200. ELISA: 20 ug/ml. Immunoprecipitation: 20 ug/ml. |
TBS, pH 7.0, 0.09% sodium azide
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only. |
JCHAIN Antibody, IGCJ Antibody, Immunoglobulin J chain Antibody, IGJ Antibody, IgJ chain Antibody, JCH Antibody
Serves to link two monomer units of either IgM or IgA. In the case of IgM, the J chain-joined dimer is a nucleating unit for the IgM pentamer, and in the case of IgA it induces larger polymers. It also help to bind these immunoglobulins to secretory component.
