Recognizes human Integrin beta 5. Specificity determined by immunoprecipitation from detergent extract of 35S methionine labeled cells. No cross-reactivity to beta 1 or beta 3. Recognizes an epitope on the cytoplasmic domain of the protein, and it is thus intracellular. Species cross-reactivity: Mouse, hamster and rat.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, RIA, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Immunoprecipitation: 5uL of antibody is sufficient to precipitate alpha V/beta 5 from 2.5x1E6 cells. Western Blot: 1:100. Immunofluorescence: 1:100. Immunohistochemistry (Acetone Fixed): 1:40-1:80. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin Embedded): 1:200 (ABC).
