Recognizes a 105kD glycoprotein, which is the integrin beta 3 chain. This molecule associates with either the alpha IIb integrin (CD41) or the alpha V integrin (CD51) at the cell surface.
Suitable for use in flow cytometric analysis using 100 ul peripheral blood cells or 20 ul/1E6 cells. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Integrin alpha-V/beta-3 is a receptor for cytotactin, fibronectin, laminin, matrix metalloproteinase-2, osteopontin, osteomodulin, prothrombin, thrombospondin, vitronectin and von Willebrand factor. Integrin alpha-IIb/beta-3 is a receptor for fibronectin, fibrinogen, plasminogen, prothrombin, thrombospondin and vitronectin. Integrins alpha-IIb/beta-3 and alpha-V/beta-3 recognize the sequence R-G-D in a wide array of ligands.
