Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG2a Monoclonal [NKI-M9 (former PAF2a)]
IHC - Frozen
Specificity and Use
ITGAV/Integrin Alpha V/CD51 antibody was raised against cultured melanoma cells derived from a human melanoma metastasis
directed against the CD51 antigen, alpha chain of vitronectin receptor (VNR-a chain)which forms a complex with: CD61 antigen (GP IIIa or b3 chain); b5 Integrin and b1 Integrin. The platelet a-b3 complex functions as a vitronectin receptor and platelet adhesion to vitronectinis inhibited by this antibody.
PBS containing 0.09% sodium azide
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles.
ITGAV/Integrin Alpha V/CD51 is a protein that is a member of the integrin superfamily. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This protein undergoes post-translational cleavage to yield disulfide-linked heavy and light chains that combine with multiple integrin beta chains to form different integrins.
