Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

ITGAM / CD11b antibody was raised against mouse ITGAM
The M1/70 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocyte suspensions. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.125 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.2, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.09% sodium azide
Store at +4°C. Do not freeze. Product is photosensitive and should be protected from light.

About ITGAM / CD11b

P11215 NM_000632 NP_000623.2

ITGAM Antibody, Antigen CD11b (p170) Antibody, CD11B Antibody, CD11b antigen Antibody, CR3A Antibody, Integrin alpha-M Antibody, MAC-1 Antibody, MO1A Antibody, Neutrophil adherence receptor Antibody, MAC1A Antibody, SLEB6 Antibody, CR-3 alpha chain Antibody

Integrin alpha-M/beta-2 is implicated in various adhesive interactions of monocytes, macrophages and granulocytes as well as in mediating the uptake of complement-coated particles. It is identical with CR-3, the receptor for the iC3b fragment of the third complement component. It probably recognizes the R-G-D peptide in C3b. Integrin alpha-M/beta-2 is also a receptor for fibrinogen, factor X and ICAM1. It recognizes P1 and P2 peptides of fibrinogen gamma chain.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of mouse bone marrow cell suspension with staining buffer (autofluorescence) (open histogram) or 0.06 ug APC anti-mouse CD11b (M1/70) (colored histogram). Cells in the large scatter population were used for analysis. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
