Mouse mammary tumor cells.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse Integrin alpha6. In cutaneous melanocytic lesions, the level of expression of three integrin subunits (a2, a6, and b3) has been found to be correlated with tumor progression. This antibody is directed against a6-integrins (Laminin receptor, VLA-6), shows a cytoplasmic staining pattern of uveal and cutaneous melanoma cells. Antibody blocks binding of integrin a6 to laminin P1 and E8.

Usage
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. In Western Blot reactive with two major bands of 120 and 140kD under non-reducing conditions. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:5-1:10. Dilute with PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide. Incubate for 30 min. at RT or overnight at 4?C. Positive control: Epithelial tissues.
