Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Rat Monoclonal (IgG2) to Mouse ITGA6/Integrin Alpha 6/CD49f
IHC - Frozen, Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry
Mouse ITGA6/Integrin Alpha 6/CD49f
Mouse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IHC - Frozen
Specificity and Use
Reacts with the laminin receptor alpha-6beta-1 and alpha-6beta-4 complexes
Immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry in frozen tissue sections. Product does not detect alpha 6 in Western blot since the epitope most likely involves both alpha 6 and beta 1 integrin subunit. Product does not block alpha 6 integrin m
0.02 M phosphate buffer, pH 7.6, 0.25 M sodium chloride, 0.1% sodium azide
The ITGA6 protein product is the integrin alpha chain alpha 6. Integrins are integral cell-surface proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. A given chain may combine with multiple partners resulting in different integrins. For example, alpha 6 may combine with beta 4 in the integrin referred to as TSP180, or with beta 1 in the integrin VLA-6. Integrins are known to participate in cell adhesion as well as cell-surface mediated signalling.
