This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole Goat serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region near aa 275-300 of Human p33 ING1 protein (Inhibitor of growth family, member 1).

Reactivity occurs against human p33 ING1 protein and is 100% homologous to all splice variants for ING1. Cross reactivity with p33 ING1 protein from mouse and rat sources is expected based on high homology (one amino acid change in sequence) by BLAST. Reactivity with p33 ING1 proteins from other sources is not known.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B384 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B384 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.
