  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Influenza B Matrix M1 antibody was raised against influenza B virus derived from allantoic fluid of 10 day old embryonated eggs.
Recognizes the matrix protein (M1) of Influenza virus B. The M1 protein, a 27kD membrane-binding protein, is the most abundant protein in the virus particle and forms the major structural component of the virion, beneath a lipid envelope containing the viral hemagglutinin and neuraminidase glycoproteins and the M2 ion channel. M1 controls the intracellular trafficking of ribonucleoproteins and is also essential for virus budding. The protein can also dimerize under certain conditions.

About Influenza B Matrix M1

P13880 P13880

M1 Antibody, Influenza B M1 Antibody

Influenza B Matrix M1 plays critical roles in virus replication, from virus entry and uncoating to assembly and budding of the virus particle. M1 binding to ribonucleocapsids (RNPs) in nucleus seems to inhibit viral transcription. Interaction of viral NEP with M1-RNP is thought to promote nuclear export of the complex, which is targeted to the virion assembly site at the apical plasma membrane in polarized epithelial cells.
