This protein A purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a recombinant protein raised in yeast, corresponding to 79 amino acids of mature cat IL-8 protein.
Specificity
This antibody is specific for cat IL-8 protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with IL-8 from cat sources based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with IL-8 from other sources has not been determined.

- Western blot (1:500 - 1:2000)
- ELISA (1:10000 - 1:50000)
Usage
This protein A purified antibody is suitable for ELISA and Western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 8.9 kD in size corresponding to cat IL-8 by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
