Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
(applications tested for the base form of this product only)
Specificity and Use
CHO cells transfected with cDNA produced from the gp80 IL-6 receptor mRNA.
Specifically recognizes soluble and membrane bound human IL-6 receptor gp80. This antibody binds to the IL-6 receptor in the presence of IL-6. This antibody was studied at the Fifth Leukocyte Typing Workshop.
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA and Immunocytochemistry. Note: Further dilutions should be made with PBS, 0.1-1% BSA.
PBS. No preservatives added.
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
IL6R / IL6 Receptor is a subunit of the interleukin 6 (IL6) receptor complex. Interleukin 6 is a potent pleiotropic cytokine that regulates cell growth and differentiation and plays an important role in the immune response. The IL6 receptor is a protein complex consisting of this protein and interleukin 6 signal transducer (IL6ST/GP130/IL6-beta), a receptor subunit also shared by many other cytokines.
