  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

IL32 antibody was raised against this purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with full length recombinant human IL-32A protein.
This purified antibody has been heated to 56°C for 30 minutes. In ELISA and other immunoreactive assays, this antibody will recognize both native and recombinant human IL-32A in cell supernatants and certain body fluids. A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.
This purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. Reactivity is also expected in neutralizations, radioimmunoassay and immunohistochemistry. The endotoxin content is estimated to be <10 pg/ul by the LAL method. By western blot a band approximately 15 kD in size corresponding to native human IL-32a protein is expected in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

IL32 is a member of the cytokine family. The protein contains a tyrosine sulfation site, 3 potential N-myristoylation sites, multiple putative phosphorylation sites, and an RGD cell-attachment sequence. Expression of this protein is increased after the activation of T-cells by mitogens or the activation of NK cells by IL-2. This protein induces the production of TNFalpha from macrophage cells. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.

Western blot

Western blot
Anti-Human IL-33 Antibody - Western Blot. Western blot of anti-Human IL-32A antibody shows detection of a band ~19 kD in size corresponding to recombinant human IL-32A (lane 1). The identity of the higher molecular weight band is unknown. Molecular weight markers are also shown (M). After transfer, the membrane was blocked overnight with 3% BSA in TBS followed by reaction with primary antibody at a 1:1000 dilution. Detection occurred using peroxidase conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG (LS-C60865) secondary antibody diluted 1:40000 in blocking buffer (p/n MB-070) for 30 min at RT followed by reaction with FemtoMax chemiluminescent substrate. Image was captured using VersaDoc MP 4000 imaging system (Bio-Rad).
